Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Brilliant Drivers is a Ministry of Transportation (MTO) approved Beginner Driver Education (BDE) Course Provider.
BDE stands for Beginner Driver Education Course. It is a 40-hour course based on the Ministry of Transportation approved curriculum. You must successfully complete all components for successful completion of the course. Course Completion information will be mentioned on ‘Driver Licence History’ issued by any Service Ontario Office.
After successfully completing BDE course
- You become eligible to give G2 road test after 8 months from the day of passing your G1 written test instead of waiting for 12 months.
- You may become eligible for Auto insurance discount on successful completion of the course.
BDE Course consists of a total of 40-hour content.
- 30 Hour Digital Instructions (Online)
- 10 Hour In-Vehicle Instructions

No, you do not have to come for any classroom or in-person sessions for BDE course. All theory content is online and for in-car sessions, we pick up and drop off at your home.
